Scifest Africa 2015 will be held in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape from 18-24 March 2015, and will celebrate the International Year of Light.
The theme will explore numerous sub-themes including, but not limited to, anatomy, architecture, arts and culture, astronomy, atmospheric sciences, aviation, biotechnology, chemistry, diet, energy, fibre optics, gravity, lasers, matter, microscopy, nanotechnology, optics, photonics, space sciences, the spectrum, and the universe.
Scifest Africa 2014 welcomed 68,000 visitors; offered 80 exhibitions and 606 events presented by 362 contributors from 100 participating organisations in 12 countries; and generated positive media coverage to the value of R4,25-million between 1 January and 30 March.
