Science Stars kicked off a Selfie Competition in March this year following the recent popularity of ‘The Selfie’. Individuals and groups of friends worldwide succumbed to this addiction by uploading interesting photos taken using the front camera of their mobile phone.
Offering a brand new Huawei tablet for the selfie that received the most Facebook likes on our Facebook page. Our winner, Ziyanda Tukwayo, received 249 likes by the closing date of the competition. On the 31 May 2015, we tallied up the scores and after dubbing Ziyanda as the winner, we realised that Siyabonga Ngxowa came second with 237 likes – only 12 likes less than the winner.
