Requirements / Eligibility:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be registered (or accepted for registration) at a recognised South African university or university of technology for the 2026 academic year.
  • Be enrolled in a field of study linked to water and sustainability (see sectoral focus areas above).
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance or potential.
  • Submit a complete application with all required supporting documents (certified ID copy, latest academic record, proof of registration/admission, and a motivation letter).
  • Clearly explain how their studies and career goals will contribute to addressing South Africa’s water and sustainability challenges.
